Carbohydrate or the way most people prefer to call it, "carbs" is the main source of energy.

 

It gives energy to the body for every activity and it is also the nutrient that the body will look forward for burning during activities.

 

Therefore it's a must to consume carbs before work, gym etc. this way maximizing our abilities is much easier and it is also more efficient if we take in good amount of carbs before any activity.

 

Taking in little amount of carbs will result in a feeling of tiredness or weakness, however it is efficient for weight loss and suggested to consume less carbs than usual to loss weight quicker.

 

Taking large amount of carbs will surely give energy, but this will result in weight gain in most cases.

 

Everyone got their priorities and according to that each one should consume the amount of carbs they need to reach the goals that have been set by them.
